At the Mavericks Surf Competition, two huge waves hit the beach, knocking dozens of spectators off their feet, causing several injuries, toppling booths, unnerving many (like myself) and sent some unfortunate souls swaying in the water while numerous boxes of equipment were swallowed up--all within a few seconds.
